Abstract: (13 Views)
Background and Objective: Although psychological acceptance is important, its systematic study in religious texts, particularly the Sahifa Sajjadiya, remains limited. This study aimed to explore the concept of acceptance as outlined in the Sahifa Sajjadiya.
Methods: The research method was qualitative, using inductive thematic analysis. The statistical population included all prayers of Sahifa Sajjadiya, from which the thirty-third prayer was purposefully selected, and MAXQDA software (version 24) was used for analysis.
Results: The findings after coding identified 16 themes, which were ultimately categorized into four main themes: stages of acceptance, effects of recognizing God's selection, effects of non-recognizing God's selection, and effects of acceptance. The perspectives of 11 experts were used to qualitatively assess the content validity. The content validity ratio and content validity index were 0.79 and 0.89, respectively.
Conclusion: This study showed that in the view of Imam Sajjad (as), the concept of acceptance is not simply a psychological process for coping with the inevitable difficulties of life, but rather a meaningful and transcendental approach that, relying on the knowledge and power of God, transforms life’s difficulties into opportunities for spiritual growth and self-actualization, providing a foundation for the flourishing of human virtues.
