The method of content analysis was used in this study. In this qualitative content analysis, data were collected from the national and international databases, using the following words and phrases as the keywords: Coronavirus Pandemic and Islam, religion and COVID- 19, disease and Jurisprudence, Islamic traditions and disease. Considering the goal of the research, the texts and articles were selected and reviewed. The findings of the study indicated that Islamic teachings considers health promotion in during the outbreak of Covid-19 by presenting specific cognitions and beliefs such as attributing disease to the material world for Godchr('39')s transcendence, coronavirus disease and voluntary act, considering Allah’s remembrance, attending exaltation of believers. So, it orientated health promotion with emphasis on a few behaviors such as prioritizing the health guidelines in religious fatwas, underscore on empathy and beneficence and constant communication with Allah.
