Regarding ever-increasing spread of interdisciplinary researches in the field of religion and health, medical ethics and medical law in our country, and the orientation of WHO toward spiritual health and also unique capacity of the holy Quran and Islamic tradition in presentation of ways for promotion of health particularly spiritual one in its all aspects, it has been decided to issue a journal in the above mentioned field. Other factors also encouraged this journal to be published such as: Iran’s perspective in 1404 which demands substantiation of Iranian people’ health in corporeal, incorporeal, social, and spiritual aspects; policies of the ministry of health in deepening Quran studies to improve health by exploitation of experts of health’ domain and researchers in relevant Islamic fields. This journal aims to correctly pave the way for the fulfillment of software making movement and production of domestic sciences. Hence there are little specializedinterdisciplinary magazines in the field of religion and health, this journal is an opportunity for academic papers relevant to the field.

The journal of Religion and Health as an 'Open Access' journal has the official certificate issued by the committee of ministry of health for the medical journals: No. 92/1977; issue date: 10/20/2013. This journal publishes those researches and articles in all fields relevant to religion and health (including body, mind, social and spiritual health), medical ethics, medical law. Papers submitted to this journal must have new achievements and conclusions.
